Cuban Cocktailing with Ana Sofía Peláez

Join us as we welcome the venerable Ana Sofia Paelez back into the kitchen to get you ready for the holiday cocktail party season with some modern Cuban bites that are sure to become favorites. 

Ana puts her twists on some Cuban classics and will teach you to make Croquetas de Media Noche, Empanaditas de Chorizo, and Tostones Rellenos. Then finish up the night by making a classic Daiquiri. We’d say that’s a requirement to host a cocktail party in the tropics!

Ana Sofía Peláez is a Miami-based food writer covering the spectrum of Latin American cuisine on her blog Hungry Sofia. She has been featured by the New York Times, InStyle Magazine, Food 52, and was nominated by Saveur as one of the Best Regional Cuisine blogs. She is a regular contributor to NBCNews.com and her work has appeared in The Local Palate, Modern Farmer, and Smithsonian Journeys among other national outlets.  Her first cookbook, The Cuban Table (St. Martin’s Press) was nominated for a James Beard Award in 2015.
