Essential Knife Skills-Ceviche

Artistry comes in many forms in a kitchen, and learning how to wield a knife is both an art and a necessity. In this class on essential knife skills, you’ll learn how to buy, store and care for knives; you’ll learn the basic anatomy and construction of a knife, and will learn to understand the difference between various knives and their functions. By the time the class is done, you’ll be able to perform basic knife skills such as chopping, dicing, mincing and slicing—practicing these skills preparing a classic island-style ceviche.
